About SE//PREVENT
Why this independent social-engineering reference exists and what it publishes.
SocialEngineeringPrevention.com is an independent English-language information portal about manipulation used in digital and real-world attacks.
What the publication covers
The site documents phishing, impersonation, pretexting, account takeover, fraudulent support, job and task scams, payment diversion, voice and video cloning, QR-code redirects and recovery after an incident. Articles focus on the sequence a reader can observe: contact, claimed identity, pressure and requested action.
What the publication does not do
The site does not recover funds, trace private individuals, provide personalized legal advice or guarantee that a message is safe. It does not currently sell security products, publish paid rankings or place a commercial recommendation inside a guide.
Who it is for
The primary reader is a person facing a suspicious interaction without specialist security knowledge. The same sourced case notes may also help journalists, educators, researchers and workplace security teams.
Current stage
The publication is in its initial editorial build. Topic hubs, practical guides and source standards are live; the case library and bylined article archive will expand as entries are researched and reviewed.
